I am a white, CIS female settler who is 42 years old. I am LGBTQ2S+ allied, and sex positive. I bring 25+ years of experience as a professional artist, movement facilitator and somatic educator to working with clients. I am well positioned to support other artists and creatives navigating the particular challenges of the artists’ path. B.A. in Psychology, RSSW
I’m passionate about creating meaningful connections with my clients, and I bring both my professional training and personal experiences to our work together. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of life’s challenges. With a background in Psychology (B.A., York University), Social Service Work (Diploma, Seneca College), and ongoing training as a Gestalt Student Therapist.
Since 2013, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals as they navigate trauma, addiction and relationship challenges. My work has been grounded in a non-profit community setting, where I currently serve as Interim Clinical Director/Program Manager, ensuring clients receive high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Gestalt Therapy is at the heart of my practice because it provides a powerful way to explore and resolve the root causes of life’s struggles. Together, we’ll look at how past experiences—whether from childhood or later in life—have shaped patterns and beliefs that may still be affecting you today. My goal is to help you uncover new, creative ways to address the challenges you’re facing and to support you in living a richer, more purposeful, and deeply satisfying life.

My approach is one of meaningful connection. How do you relate to others, to yourself? Our past experiences can influence how we currently move in the world, keeping us stuck in unhelpful patterns. Working with the brain body connection and working in the here-and-now, we can create a playful and compassionate space for you to step more fully into your life. So, whether you are experiencing a stressful or challenging situation, looking for strategies to help manage mental health or substance use/alcohol use, or looking to work on changing patterns that no longer work for you - I look forward to supporting you from a place of care and kindness, celebrating the entirety of who you are.

I am a 52-year-old, male, Brazilian-born, Canadian by choice. My immigrant heritage and Canada gave me the opportunity to hold many homes in one breath. Married for 26 years, with a 21-year-old daughter and a 30-year-old son who embraced me when he was 4.
I am deeply interested to further grow my work and practice in support of women as a healthy male figure, those facing the process of life transitions and ageing, immigrants, those seeking belonging, or facing grief and loneliness. My lived experiences and personal work include intergenerational trauma, family abuse, life across cultures and places, separation, loss, loneliness, grief, anger, long-term critical illnesses, abandonment, and domestic violence.
I have extensive lived experiences from working across cultures after a 30-year career in the corporate space. I have provided active support to individuals with workplace-related depression, anxiety, burnout, impostor syndrome, gaslighting, verbal and psychological abuse, social exclusion, and discrimination.
I bring integrity, warmth, and a playful energy with strong support to explore what is present. I borrow the wisdom of myth and archetypes. I search for patterns in the pauses, for the recurring images that hum beneath one’s experience. I use creativity to translate the unspoken into forms that recognize what is felt. Sketches, rhythms, metaphors, dreams, melodies open doors to worlds one did not know existed. I honor cultural textures, the contact with the natural world, the spirit, the ways personal stories and relationships with others and the world shape pain and possibility. My interests and my work include elements of Jungian, Buddhist, and Existential psychology, mythology, Eastern philosophy, yoga, and meditation practices.
I strive to support clients in ways and with tools that are both practical and heartfelt: Habits of attention, images that hold meaning, creative and embodied practices that relieve suffering and invite choice. Healing, in my view, is not a destination but a deepening of well-nurtured relationships — with oneself, others, the world, the spirit, and the unfolding of life. I aspire to be a humble guide for those who wish to meet themselves with courage, creativity, and compassion.

I’m a psychotherapist-in-training who brings a steady, relational presence and a practical, real-world understanding of stress, change, and resilience. My background has shaped how I show up: I’m collaborative, attuned to relationship dynamics, and skilled at helping to clarify what matters while taking meaningful steps forward as new awareness emerges.
My interest is in supporting transitions: young-adult uncertainty, mid-life pressures, shifting roles in relationships and family, burnout and low energy, grief and loss, and questions of purpose and identity. My approach is somatic, body-informed relational Gestalt, helping you notice what you are experiencing, how your emotions show up physically, and how to build steadier ground from the inside out.
Life experience informs my approach, making room to slow down, strengthening awareness, and being open to change, especially when old patterns or strong feelings take over. I welcome conversations about desire, intimacy, boundaries, and shame, at a pace that feels safe and respectful, as we co-create a space focused on supporting you.

My work is shaped by my experiences growing up in a society affected by political tension, the aftermath of war, and marked by instability and loss. Coming from a family impacted by trauma and mental health challenges, I drew strength from the healing traditions of folklore and the support of my community. Seven years ago, I immigrated to Canada, where I encountered the profound challenges and personal growth of rebuilding my life in a new culture. Now a mother, I combine my personal journey with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology to help others navigate their own healing paths.
